Many Americans have more clothes than they will ever wear. Some were Christmas gifts they never wore, while others are items they used to wear but no longer want. Too often, these items will languish in storage or ultimately be thrown away. A better use for clothes or shoes you no longer want is to donate them to the charity Planet Aid, which helps to provide clothing for poorer countries who need them. No only is this a generous thing to do, it is also a tax deduction.
